#Are the invincible comics finished series
This series gives all the feels in spades, and Image Comics should really be commended for that. Throughout there were some seriously gut-wrenching moments that made me feel sick, riled me up, or want to cry. Like in the first compendium, you can expect nonstop superhero action with plenty of gore, crazy schemes of mass destruction, and some funny and heartfelt moments in between. I loved getting to know other heroes throughout, and there’s still so much to experience. I have seen some complaints that Mark doesn’t always play the central focus, but this universe is vast, and fleshing it out further has been so entertaining and important in my opinion. Oliver had some good progression just like Mark. He really grapples with this and other dilemmas, and it makes him so much stronger and well-rounded in the end.Ītom Eve and Oliver play more central roles to the plot, and it really made the experience more enjoyable. One I particularly enjoyed was whether or not Invincible had a duty to kill (instead of lock up) his enemies if they were hellbent on attacking him (or his family) again or causing loss of human life and chaos to the world. There were a lot of darker themes explored this time around. Mark Greyson may have been something of a white knight up until this point, but that changes by leaps and bounds in this compendium, believe me! There’s plenty of great progression with his character, and it was so easy to relate to what he was going through given the insane situations he finds himself in. I would give this diamond of a superhero saga a million stars if I could, that’s how much this blew me away. So, did this compendium of superhero epicness floor me like the first one did? There was a slight delay with my library, but I was rewarded for my patience and have the third and final compendium in my possession, so I can just keep on going, hopefully finishing by grad school time! I absolutely ADORED the first compendium, so naturally I had to get my grubby mitts on the next one.

Today I’m sharing my full review of Invincible, Compendium Two by Image Comics. Here’s hoping your life is much more peaceful! I also finished final edits of my BEK short story for its alpha read yesterday, and grad school starts up again in a week, So basically I’m flailing around.
I’ve been holed up inside my apartment severely social distancing prior to a surgery tomorrow, so I’ve been very introverted lately.
